Joining the Cico Shamrocks

There are a couple of different ways to find out about joining our 4-H club. Interested members can visit one of our monthly meetings. Introduce yourself to one of the leaders or parents at the meeting and they'll help you know what the meetings look like. You can also contact one of the leaders at any time to find out more.

During our meetings, guests who are interested in joining are asked to come forward and sign the roll call book. After signing the book each child is asked to introduce themselves, usually this just includes their name, age, and what school they attend. If your child is nervous about introducing themselves let an officer or leader now, we want to make sure everyone is comfortable.

There are good resources for new members and families on the Riley County 4-H website and the Kansas 4-H website. Each new member will be given a 4-H record book upon officially joining the club. Talk to a leader about signing up to participate in the program
